| Can post ride meals be purchased for family and friends after the ride in Marion? |

There is a limited amount of food, but extra will be sold. For planning purposes PLEASE purchase meal tickets online ahead of time.

| If I finish Assault on Mitchell can I ride my bike down from the top? |

No. Under no circumstance may you ride your bike down the mountain. None at all! Bikes will be handed to the volunteers immediately upon completion of the event. Failure to do so will result in disqualification for this year (no published time) and a life-time ban. These rules are to ensure the safety of ALL participants and continuation of the events.

The Freewheelers of Spartanburg, Inc. formed in 1973 and is a non-profit community service organization, the purpose of which is to provide education and promotion of bicycle safety and a forum for amateur sports competition and touring within the meaning of non-profits of the Internal Revenue Code. Currently our club has over 1000 members, with members from 45 states, Canada and Germany. With the youngest member being 14 years old and the oldest member being 79 years old.
