The Assault on Mt. Mitchell and the Assault on Marion does not encourage transferring rider numbers, whether the numbers are sold, traded or given away.

However, we have no control over what people do with what they pay for; we can only ask that you do not let someone else ride with your rider number.

Once the detailed personal information about the rider is inputted into Active.com registration process, that should be it. We use the download from Active.com to compile our emergency contact and emergency number for each rider, as well as your email address to send out any last minute updates about the upcoming event.

If you are compelled to sell, trade or give away your number, please have the new rider come to packet pickup on Sunday, June 8th, with your receipt from Active.com with your rider number shown on it and emails from you to the the new rider to verify that he/she is the rightful person to ride with your rider number. For safety of riders in an emergency, we must have an accurate account of who is on the ride course with correct emergency contacts and phone numbers. Thanks for your cooperation.

The finishers' list on our Assaults' web page will be shown after all correct names are inputted.
These corrections will be made based on information gathered at the packet pickup only.
