Motion was made and seconded to endorse the Spartanburg County Vision for Bike Lanes presented by Jean Crow. This will give priority to the roads listed on the map to get bike lanes when they are resurfaced. This bike plan will be presented at the SPATS Meeting on November 7th.

The December 12th Club Christmas Party at Cleveland Park was discussed at length. We voted to have the function catered, as this would allow the board members more energy to enjoy the party without having to pickup/serve/cleanup the food. Andrew & Marly will get menus. The bar will be limited to beer and wine. Cleveland Park will provide a security officer (1 per 100 guests) at a rate of $25 per hour per officer. The officer must be present from the arrival time of the guests until the last person has left the facility. The following committees were formed:
1. Decorations Anna & Patti
2. Alcohol Marly and Tom Divver
3. Bartender Jeff Peters
4. Cleanup
5. Designated Driver Greg Kyzer
6. Collection of tip money for bartender Andrew
7. Sound system Ken & Doug
Marly will send out an email requesting everyone to turn in final mileage so that mileage plaques & caps can be awarded. The high mileage awards will be awarded at the February meeting. The caps for Million Mile Challenge people will be given out at the Christmas Party.

A motion was made and seconded that the Freewheelers sponsor monthly themed rides in 2006 to honor of the 175th Anniversary of the City of Spartanburg. The ride leaders will determine the route, length and date for their ride. All rides will be on a Sunday at 2 PM.
