Showers are provided, a meal will be served and it is the finish line for Assault on Marion and rest stop number 5 for Assault on Mt. Mitchell.

This is the finish of the 12 hour limit ride. There is a timing device pad that you will ride your bike over at the finish line. Please have your timing chip secured on either of your ankles. The pad will not pickup your finish time if the chip is in your pocket or seat bag.

After crossing the finish line, all bikes are surrendered to a volunteer. Please let this person know if your bike is to go to Marion or straight to Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.
This is the patch that you will receive when you cross the finish line at Mt. Mitchell and when you hand over your bike to be shipped back to Marion or Spartanburg via our secure truck.

There will be hot soup and bread at the top. After retrieving your bag, there is a place for you to change clothes.

Then proceed to the busses that will take you to Marion (Tom Johnson's Camping Center)
